It’s going to be a bumpy Oscars ceremony this year! As every woman knows, the red carpet is the place to spot the latest fashion must haves, but this year the trend is going to be maternity couture! 
With the awards ceremony taking place on the 24th February, look out for Jessica Alba who is expecting her first baby, and will be an Oscar Presenter.
Nicole Kidman who is not nominated this year but has confirmed that she will be attending is also expecting her first baby.
Double Oscar nominee Cate Blanchett, is expecting her third baby and only has two months to go.

Angelina Jolie has been in the news this week following reports that she has requested maternity leave in the summer and also in the news is speculation that Kate Hudson is pregnant too. Look out for “Sweeny Todd” Actress, Helena Bonham Carter, who gave birth in December and Ellen Page Oscar nominee for Actress in Leading Role for her part in the film “Juno” which is a feel good comedy about an unplanned pregnancy.Previous Oscar winner, Halle Berry is due to give birth to her first baby in March and recently told InStyle magazine (February US edition) that she wants to stay pregnant forever!The Oscars are taking place on the 24th February 2008 and will be the 80th Annual Academy Awards Ceremony.
